Image converter program

do anyone know a free program that can convert bmp to png or jpg? When I rename them they don't show, can I can't save them as jpg or png. I got one 29 days ago, and it's a 30-days free trial.

I always use paint, but I can't save my images as png or jpg. I already said that. And if I didn't, I'm doing it now. Btw, I'm going to try the ultimate paint and edit this reply to tell if it worked or not.

I think that the difference between the paid and the free version, is basically the amount of features presented.
