RPG Maker 2000 - HP Patch

Hello all.
I have recently started working on a RPG Maker 2000 "Patch"
to Limit the Character's HP to 9999 instead of 999.
Why for RM2K? And why dont i use RM2K3 or XP?
RM2K3 => Dunno, but i dont like this one. Too much options i think.
RMXP => Bah, scripting. RGSS? What the hell is that? Yeah gimme some VB.NET or sumthing like that yeah yeah ... BUT WHY THE HELL RGSS?
RM2K => Easy to use, Easy to draw. Perfect for me.

Ok. Let's get on to the thing i need help with. If you guys want to help anyway....

I use my own Copy of RPG Maker 2000, VISUAL STUDIO.NET 2003.
And i also have Resource Hacker for some standard decompiling.

Ok i have edited the main RM2K, so now i can put up the HP value to 9999. Ok.
I create a character with it, set starty position, make event for battle. Start the game, start battle. I see i have 9999/9999 HP, but they are little bit screwed up. They are looping eachother. Then, when the enemy attacks me, i lose around -500 HP, and instead of 9499/9999 HP, The health resets itself to 999/999.

Ok.****.
Well, i really don't know where the problem is at. I only know that it isnt in the RPG Maker 2000.Exe.
It should be in RPG_RT.EXE or RPG_RT.LDB

These files cant be edited with Resource Hacker(or almost not),
So i dissasemble them with PE Explorer, and whee... Thousand lines o code. Search Search for the exact problem, but no...

If anyone know how to change this that 9999HP - 999 HP = 9000HP and NOT 999HP is,
I would appreciate it.

So i would need to find a string/value that WHEN MONSTER ATTACKS, HERO HP - "VALUE THAT MONSTER ATTACKED" does. And then it doesn't recognize the 9999 HP, so it resets itself to 999 HP.
