Let the guy be, if he wants to put his PC in the oil let him be! I hate the fan too, but not THAT much...

My motivation for trying out an oil PC would be for the cooling effects - If I'm at the point where I'm making an oil PC, I've probably already overclocked my cpu and now heat is a major factor.
