~Games Forum Rules~
« on: May 07, 2006, 01:40:25 PM »
Welcome to the Games Board. This section of Charas is for showing off the games that you are making, or perhaps take part in. The same Charas rules apply for this board, however, there are a few that I'd like to point out that are listed below. These rules must be followed by everyone, with an exception to the creator in a couple of cases. Please read and follow them. If they are not followed, then your thread/post will be deleted without warning.
Thank you.

~Rules~

1. No Flaming
- When criticizing someone's game in a negative way, you must follow this one rule: State Why In other words, negative feedback toward the game must be backed up by reason. If you just post "Sorry, but your game sucks." then the post will be deleted, because it is considered a flame toward the maker's game. Any flaming or bashing of  a person's game, the person making the game or another user in the thread is strictly forbidden and will result in your post being deleted.

2. No Double Posting
- There is one exception to this rule, however only on one accord. If the thread is that of the game's maker, then the creator can double post for an update or other information. Anything else, such as multiple posting for multiple attachments, is against the rule and will result in the post being deleted. For multiple image posting, use an image hoster such as  Photobucket or  Imageshack to have multiple images within one post. Aside from the creator, any double posting by users in a game thread that isn't theirs is against the rule and will result in their post being deleted.

3. No Spamming
- Posting of meaningless messages or other known spam just floods the topic with nonsense and is not allowed. Posting of spam will result in the post being deleted.

4. Refrain from Kicking Topics
- Once again, an exception to the creator for updating or informational purposes. Not an exception to others, though. Carefully examine the dates at the end of each post in the thread. If it's over a week old, then a post within the topic is considered a  Topic Kick, which is against the rules. Topic kicks will result in the post being deleted.

5. No Thread Hijacking
- Do not promote your own project within someone else's topic. Thread hijacking will result in the post being deleted, if it only contains the promoting, or edited, if it also contains something regarding the topic.

All users must abide by these rules. If a post is against the rules, I probably won't do anything about it. Unless it's like porn or something. I'll [STRIKE]save the url for myself[/STRIKE] delete stuff like that. So don't post that **** it aint cool. Other than that, just don't be a prick or act like a n00b. Follow that and we're good.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these rules, feel free to PM me. (I probably won't get back to you though. You know, higher officials are always busy and such. My secretary should be able to help you though. In fact, just PM her instead. Her username is Midnight. She gives good head.)
