You're mad Sai!  That outcropping is a whole square higher than any other point in the village! It's the ultimate lookout point for bandits and monsters!  Also I imagine Mr Orange dancing there to revive the elder sapling or something.

But yeah, it's way better. No-one needs tons of empty floorspace in a town.

That's pretty cool!  Although, the RTP music right as the map appeared made me cringe a little. Haha




Messing around with some VX scripts I obtained.  The title screen is actually a map.  I need to get the game title on it still though...  This is still pretty early shots.  The characters probably will change.

I think it's kaduki (sp?) sprites.  They come with facesets as well.  And they have battlesets to go with a VX sideview battle system I will have to post a screen of as soon as I get back from this drum corps camp.

Looks...kind of empty, at the current moment.
I doubt you'll keep it that way, but those tiny characters make the space seem bigger than it actually is.
