As it is right now in mid-Edo so it's around the time of the beginning of interaction with Japan and other countries seriously.

Can everyone just post if they want in, and if they'd prefer a major or seconday character. It'll make it easier.

Also, for modern day, we could make that all over the world, if you'd like.

I'm in. Give me a secondary character role.

Nothing special ála Cloud-PWR! just magic and I'm cool. Prefer time shifting and or teleporting though. And summoning of course; That's the key magic subject.

And I'm fine with being asian.

Character Name (Family name first): Helden, Georges
Age:38
Gender:Male
Height:6'3
Class:Fighter
Physical description:A large Hulking, yet fit Man. Ginger red wiry hair and a matching thick beard. His face is weatherbeaten, and would surely show freckles if not for the consistent windburn and callousing. Georges Eyes are light blue, and his complexion rough.
Thick, leather Hands top off thick trunk like arms...Loosefitting cloaks made of a patchwork of exotic textiles that oddly, looks quite protective. Various pouches have been sewn onto his garments in irregular places, preumably to hold goods. Georges Carries a travellers harpoon with him, and at its end hangs a satchell of personal effects and gadgets

Physical Strengths: Stength, Endurance, Dexterity
Physical Weaknesses:Slower, Large, Unintellegent
Magic Description (If Applicable):No magic, but has mastered his own bodys endurance levels, and pain threshold. The more pain that is inflicted, the angrier and stronger this Man seems to get
Magic Strengths:elemental magics have a reduced effect on this thick skinned man
Magic Weaknesses: Mental-types of magic
History: Geoerges comes from a small village somewhere in the western european nations. Georges was born a warrior, a fighter, and a man of much virtue and high moral values. As a child his village was destroyed in a war by some presumably german tribe, and he was forced to travel from city to city, fighting to eat, and mastering the arts of combat. As he aged, he grew thirsty for more advesaries, and travelled between cities, become one of europes most respected fighters. As an Adult he was drafted into the army, but disbanded shortly after witnessing events that did not adhere to a strict moral code he had lived by, set fourth by his father, and began a sojourn east, living off of the spoils of fights with criminals and brigand he had encountered, and various textiles and spices he brought with him from city to city.

He has since versed hiself in many languages, and has spent the last 5 years searching for an advesary who holds the same values as himself, that is his match...but until that day he is content selling and tradingtextiles and spices to villages he comes across
Personality: Georges, contrary to his appearance, is a very gentile man in most cases. He is polite, and courteous, and always willing to learn the customs of other cultures he has encountered... However, at times of combat or war, he is very grim, and very serious...and when he, or a comorade is injured or treated unjustly, he tends to become wild with silent rage, and brute strength.

Ill try being a Primary, if this can fit at all.
I never really heard of a german spice trader before...but this is what popped in my head when i was told I could be a honky.

Ok that's a great application. Could I just ask- could you describe their physicality further (eyes, hair etc) it makes it easier for people to write and to understand your character. The history was very well done!

So we have so far (if I understand correctly)
1 Fujiwara Yuki (Zerlina)
2 Georges Helden (gemini)
3UnNamed (MooseTroop11)
4

Secondary Characters
1 UnNamed (Prpl_Mage)

if I need to I can open one more principal slot. but let me know!

Lonewolf: This isn't a rpg. It's a Rp, written roleplay.

And I'll go ahead and post a profile, just tell me if I miss something or need to change it.

Character Name : Drakamura Chuni Marduki
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 5.6 ft
Class: Magician

Physical description: Marduki is not much more than one of many wherever he walks. Only part that eludes people is the fact that hs eyes seem brown but shifts red or blue depending on the tie of the day. His physical built is weak, only his legs are worth mentioning but the upper-body strenght is awful.
He mostly wears rather large clothing like the traditional robes, vests, coats and cloaks. Mostly in rather dark colours, he doesn't wish to be all flashy.
His face is quite round and he shaves every morning to at least try to honour his familly, the hair is dark and ruffled but can be fixed with one hand whenever it is needed. A person's first impression would most probably be that Marduki is a common person who only put effort into things when he has to and yet has a quite childish maner.
Physical Strengths: Agility, stamina.,speed
Physical Weaknesses: Strength, endurance, dexterity.

Magic Description: Most unecessary things. Short range blinking, conjouration of smaller items, defensive.
The blinking is what is use mostly, to get out of sight of possible threats, get up to places where he can't be followed, dodge a blade or even get behind his enemy is what even allows him to live this day.
The conjouration is being under development as he is able to conjour smaller replicas of rocks, they appear and feels like rocks. But it is actually just arcane essence mimicing the structure of the object. He is trying his best to get the essences to mimic other objects such as his Jittu or bread.
He can enchant his own muscular strenght and others through magic. By using the magic to bring nutrishement and energy to the muscles it actually works like drugs, but it the body doesn't crave for more since it's like eating a bag of suger. The body knows that it is great, but it doesn't give anything.
Magic Strengths: Is able to do most of his spells before the fight itself is on, preperation is the key.
Magic Weaknesses: He lacks any kind of offensive spells for now but hopes that he will be able to create something through his conjouration. The spells aren't really made for combat and he lacks something to heal his wounds when damaged.

Personality: Marduki is gentle to the way. More gentle than most Eni are. Both him and his familly are Eni and at the bottom of Eda era's society. People spit at him for what he are and most people doesn't even see him as a person; rather an animal who is doing the dirty work for them. But he doesn't mind since he knows that he can do more than them and respects his work as an undertaker.
He honours the dead in any way. Everyone who dies deserves a proper burial. No matter if it is a shagun or an eni like him. Even animals deserves a blessing before they pass on.
He is a strategist when it comes to battle; most people will not meet the same person they where threatening when they draw their blades as Marduki will boost himself in any possible way and do his best to keep the enemy at distance and confused. He rather avoid the killing if he has to since the honour is all he wants; he can handle the dead at work.
He is quite caring for his own kind and the graves anywhere. It seems as if he sees the graves as a portal to the world of the dead. As long as they are clean: the dead remain pleased.
He is living in the past where hirachy is putting him at the bottom, he can't even begin to think about a future unless it means that everyone is treated equally; undertaker and samurai.
He will not exactly help anyone but most people are able to earn his trust quite easilly becasue of the childish nature he carries; he is more pleased by drawings than geisha houses and rather enjoy his days singing than reading. In other words; he isn't ready to be a man just yet.
History: Marduki was born as an eni by eni. His parents where undertaker and gravedigger so he got the work as they got older. He have been living like that ever since, usually spending his days at the temple and taking care of the graves and speaking to the spirits. His life is simple but he wishes that his quite odd abilities might be usefull for his kind in order to attempt to at least change the way people look at them.
But he accepts the way the world is and is devoted to his occupation that also is his life. It would require something special for him to even think twice about leaving it.

Right. This seems a little at odds with the rest of the rp... but I figured since I seem to be the only one with a character from the present day that I was allowed to make a few bits up about it.

I'll change it if need be.

Character Name : Corgan
Age: 57
Gender: Male
Height: Erm, mediumish
Class: Blue mage (ish)
Equipment: Old fashioned six shot revolver which he carries ammunition for everywhere

Physical description: Corgan has a full head of greying dark brown hair that is effortlessly fairly stylish; he gives off the impression that he is far more comfortable in the role of a distinguished veteran than he was in his youth. He wears a brown leather coat that has lasted him for many years and has scorch marks and light gashes in it which suggest that it's owner has been through a lot. His face has aged well and despite his turbulent lifestyle most of the wrinkles are along laughter lines.
Physical Strengths: Defense, aim
Physical Weaknesses: Dexterity, speed

Magic Description: In our time the art of magic and magical abilities has been partially explained through science; and in a government experiment to try and manipulate these forces Corgan gained unstable DNA which reforms and completes itself when he is around those with magical ability. Corgan then gains a weak version of their magical abilities. After a few minutes apart from those people his DNA reverts itself and he loses the magical abilities.

Magic Strengths: Depends on who's around him
Magic Weaknesses: None of his magic compares to the genuine thing; at least, not at first. If he spends a long time with a person then his mastery over their magic becomes much stronger.

Personality: Corgan has seen a fair few things in his time and is not easily surprised- and very little scares him as he has been in many life threatening situations where, through luck or fate, he has come out alive. He can lose patience with young people who he believes are often selfish and have a lack of morals- but then again he's used to youths from his own time. The people of Edo Japan are quite different.

History: (I'm kinda explaining the 'current day' world here as well... and it's fairly different from our own world. I reckoned that'd be okay, seeing as Japan never had any magic users in real life in the first place ^^. By government, I kinda mean a sort of world government)

The government have been aware for some time that magic exists; a trait so common in the past that has by the present day almost diminished to nothing, those gifted in it never taught and those passionate about it dismissed as rambling fools. A section of the government has been set up to quietly deal with magical matters as the general consensus is that in this day and age, magic is not nesessary- it is unpredictable and dangerous. However, there are still some individuals who have devoted their lives to the study of it- some who have decided that it is the key to immortality and others who simply wish to satisfy their curiosity.

Corgan is a product of the latter: He was the child of a scientist who offered him as a baby to a contraversial laboratory which experiments using magic and science together. In trying to figure out what makes a human able to channel magic, they took Corgan's non-magic compatible DNA and tweaked it a little whilst he was still developing. The first step was to alter Corgan's DNA to provide a 'clean slate' upon which to try and mimic patterns found in magic user's genetics, but once they had performed the first step and before they went further, they realised that the dna was trying to 'fix' itself using echoes from the genetics of other test subjects with natural magical power. The scientists decided to leave Corgan as he was to observe the effects.

A few years later the general public found out about the lab and got it closed down through protests and during the pressure of the elections. Many of the surviving subjects from the lab had very interesting magical abilities and they were taken in by the government. Corgan had an interesting early life learning from people in the government who were trained to deal with magical problems and magical terrorism around the world, and it wasn't long before Corgan and some of the other lab survivors joined the government.

Many years later, and Corgan has earnt a name for himself as a survivor. He is a generally positive man but is weighed down by a few horrific experiences in his past which he has almost come to accept as part of the job; the most notable of which being when he and a team of government specialists tried to take on/calm down a man who had practically turned himself into a fire elemental and was torching buildings. The elemental reacted violently to their attempts to calm him down and he consumed the building they were all in in a huge ball of fire... but Corgan survived as his dna had temporarily adapted to give him the same resistance to fire magic that the elemental had.

He is still doing missions involving magical occurences, and when the government detected a disturbance and heard rumours of four unknown, strangely dressed people appearing as if from nowhere, they knew who to send.

****. ****. I wrote the bio for the guy in the past. I need to edit it. I totally forgot we had changed times. Damnit XD

Eh, I'll post it anyway. Is it possible to make it so that the orbs exist in a constant time, so that when someone in the past finds it at the same time as someone in the future and only one person has the orbs as per their destiny etc? I just like the profile XD

Character Name: Tchebanenko, Dimitri
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 8"
Class: Scholar/Thief
Physical description: A man with a rather short stature depending upon who he is compared to, his physical traits immediately place certainty on the location of his homeland. His jaw is flat, rounding off the sides and into his chin. Stern, angry appearing eyes, stealthily hiding the nearly limitless boundaries of his intellect, are deep set into strong cheek bones, giving his face the look of a determined man. Bespectacled in times of study or public activity, the thin wire frames which house two thick windows of glass skew any intimidating notion about the man, instead trading them for ones of a scholar. His smooth, peach colored skin often leads to assumptions of a wealthy class association between him and some foreign noble. Supporting these notions are the extravagance of his wardrobe. His attire consists primarily of elegant robes, usually reserved for state heroes and laureates, dark shades of black and green with red and gold trim, made of the finest threads, carefully woven into the very fabric, obviously originating in foreign lands. Draping down the back of the robes is a long, dirty blonde ponytail, hanging loosely with the texture of a horse tail down to just below the middle of his shoulder blades. Short bangs hang over his hairline, clumping together loosely over his high forehead, adding in one of many confusing disheveled aspects of him. A thin silver ring, adorned with a large stone of garnet, sits on the ring finger of his right hand.

While bearing the unneeded weight of the extravagantly elegant robes, underneath he wears what is dirty even by the standards of some of the dirtiest villages. Due to the robes, the only part of his interior outfit to be seen is the waist down. His legs bear the protection of worn wool military trousers, held up with a thick and tired strap of leather, clasped tightly together with an old iron buckle. The cuffs of the trousers are tucked tightly into aged leather boots, stuffed with wool and held taught with tightly wrapped leather straps leading in a loose and layered path around the upper. Adorning the right side of his waist is a short dagger, sheathed and latched into its carrier. Leather wraps the handle, and from the wearing in the various places it is obvious that this knife is used more than regularly, far more than strictly protection. His torso, while not visible on most occasions, is small, lean and muscular frame.
Physical Strengths: Extremely proficient with a knife in one-on-one combat, or even two-on-one, but fails at defending himself against a group of assailants. Dimitri has a moderate muscular endurance with a quick recuperation time if he exerts minimal effort, but takes much longer if he over exerts himself due to his low physical strength. Quick and agile, he often times will flee complications rather than stay and fight. Can easily scale a building with proficient accents that make it possible to climb. He can also fit himself into tight and uncomfortable positions if the occasion calls for it. Has great dexterity as well.
Physical Weaknesses: Low overall strength, lightweight, slow recuperation time
Magic Strengths: Dark, Mind, Ice (He is Russian, after all)
Magic Weaknesses: Light, Fire, Lightning, Wind
History: Born in Yegoshikha, located on the banks of the Kama river, he was born as a peasant child to his two parents, Alexi and Mariya Tchebanenko. Poor farmers, they worked themselves to the bone, doing their best to stake out a living. His father, an uneducated and illiterate but loving father, wanted more for his son Dimitri than to slave his life away in fields, knowing nothing in his life but work. In order to save his son, he and his wife took their son on a long journey to Moscow, the capital city of Russia, and left the then 6 year-old-old Dimitri in the care of one Sergei Ivanov, a then popular scholar and philosopher. He trained Dimitri for 10 years if his life in the ways of education and politics. Acting not as a father, but as a teacher to the young boy, he instructed him in the most regimented ways. But being a scholar, he understood that it was a tragic error to deny a child his boyish fun, Sergei would regularly pass the young child off to another professional he was familiar with, a gymnast, who would train him in the ways of physical exercise.

To Sergei's despair, Dimitri could never grasp the idea of politics as something he should be passionate about. However, Dimitri had taken an incredible likening to the study of the past and of the old treasures of his country. This was not enough for him, and so he began to journey to cities far away, stopping at all the villages in between to speak with the people and learn of their own histories and pasts. After a year away from the city studying for his love of archaeology, he returned to Moscow, excited to explain in great detail to his master the knowledge he had gained. Sadly enough, Sergei had passed away not but a month after Dimitri had left. With no reason to stay in the city, Dimitri left Moscow, and headed for the eastern edge of Russia, ever thirsting for new knowledge. As a starving intellectual, both metaphorically and literally, he turned his gymnastic abilities to that with Sergei had always preached to him the evils of: thievery. He would regularly visit the wealthy mansions and take their treasures as his own, and he would study them furiously, taking in everything he could about them, before selling them on the black market.

As he became wealthier and wealthier through his means, he began to dress the part, buying fine robes and cloth so that he could not only appear to be one of the elite, but so that he could ironically laugh in their faces, himself adorned in the robes of their expense. Unfortunately, as with many men of his type, Dimitri became cocky, and wound up being spotted within a house of a wealthy woman, who, through a poor coincidence, had recently committed suicide to escape from her husband. Now pinned for murder of such a wealthy individual, he made his only choice as to leave the country. Making his way to the far east of Russia, he boarded the nearest ship leaving the port at Vladivostok. He celebrated his 23rd birthday on the ship Sophia, a coincidence he marked as his new birth in a new land, the land of the rising sun. As a white man in Japan, he was often scorned, but this did not bother him as he considered the lush and rich history of the country far more compensation.
Personality: Dimitri is a highly intellectual man, and as such can often get cocky. However, he has a good sense of humor, and is always more than willing to discuss his favorite topics with others, although these often evolve into single man lectures about the subjects. While he hates to fight, he will use his gymnastic talents to steal artifacts which he can then sell to support himself. He never takes an object from the city he found it, often staying in inns and hotels for weeks while he studies a recently acquired artifact.
