Ah, the results of Algebra II
« on: April 19, 2008, 05:13:44 AM »
Well, I got bored in class the other day and made this guy: [link]
I think the desc. covers it all.

And then I got bored again at home, and decided to color it (which I just finished): [link]

Any coloring tips? It seriously took me ages, and some of the shade lines are really wacked :P

Not bad at all. For some reason the colouring highlights the mistakes though; the arms are really long, for one thing. Overall it's pretty good though! I didn't know you could draw ^^

Yeah, I've been drawing since about the 5th grade. And the arms are pretty long. They were the only things that really bugged me about the entire thing. At one point, his right arms was longer than his left, so I had to redraw it. It still seems a bit longer, though.

And thanks for the watch/comment, lucas :)

Actually, I'm pretty OCD about the anatomy of my characters >_>
The head should be slightly smaller than the upper body region. The forelegs and thighs should be the same size, both the size of the upper body. The elbow should be at the thinnest part of the stomach region, and the lower arm should be the same size as the upper arm. Also, the feet should be the same size as the lower arm. The hands should be around the center of the thighs - slightly below the butt.
That's what I've seen on most people. Some peoples legs (thighs and forelegs) are the same size as their upper bodies, though. That goes mostly for women, of course.

Your in Algebra II?

I have Algebra II this year... its annoying.  Its really easy too.  We sit in groups of fours and fives, and my group does "group doodling" all the time...  It sometimes turns out really funny.
