Journey of Ages

My new game, Journey of Ages(Name may change)

This is the story, and Charachter Bios:

It is the story of four friends who discover that the world
they call home is dying.They stumble across a "rift", where
their floating continent is splitting in two. The western
side appears to be sinking.....

On the eve of his 16th birthday, the main hero, Aiden,
is charged with the task of finding Procne, the Wind
Demon, who, hopefully, can restore the continent to
it's original floating state.

Aiden becomes angry at his charge, and flees the city,
and in his haste, falls from the continent, his three
friends, Silena, Will, and Natasha as well. They soon
find themselves in a foreign world, in which the seas
are drying up, and and Aiden's home not heard of.

Aiden knows not where he is, but it seems the fate of
two completely different worlds are in his hands.....
And if he should fail, he may never find home again........




Aiden:

Age:16 Class: Guardian Weapon: Sword

Aiden is about to turn 16 when his
world is changed by a quest he is
forced into. He is normally shy,
cannot talk to girls except his
good friends Silena and Natasha.
Strong, but gullible.


Silena:

Age: 15 Class: Seer Weapon: Gloves

Silena is graceful, pretty, and smart.
She is the peacekeeper of the group,
the glue that holds them together.
She is known to have visions of the
future at inconvienient moments.


Will:

Age: 17 Class: Archer Weapon: Bow

Will is sarcastic, the comic relief.
He is, however, loyal to a fault,
and rushes into situations without
thinking, very often. His carelessness
puts the party in many tight spots.


Natasha:

Age: 16 Class: Healer Weapon: Blunt-swords

Natasha is a Healer, who wields bizzare,
dull swords, that she stabs with. She has
bad aim, and is sometimes condescending.
She is brave, and wouldn't hesitate to
throw herself in front of a train for
those she holds dear.

Tia:

Age: 19

Tia is a good friend of Aiden's, as well as
Silena's cousin. She helps the party in
ways that they do not realize.....

Age:

Not much is known about this mysterious man,
only that is a master Time Wizard.

Wow...thanks Lukas! That's way better than i had hoped! This is my first posted game,but I've ade hundreds before, so it's not
(that) noobish, i think anyway. I have a demo, but there's no combat yet, it's just the first six maps or so, and im extending it to include your landing on Encarna, the not-floating continent. Pharne is the floating one. And Moosetroop11, they charge him at his young age, for two reasons. One is a plot twist. The other, I can't work with 25-30 year old chars. I only just turned 14 myself,
i find it easier to work with young charachters. Hope that wraps it up. Screenshots i need help with, but demo im working on!
BTW, know any good file-sharing sites so I can post the demo, and can someone explain to me how to put in screen shots? Mine show up as a red X.....

Actually I now have a demo, but no monsters or fights yet. Yes, the charachters ARE supposed tp have 1 HP, 0 MP, and 1 on all other stats, that changes later, as a part of the story, but not that much later. One good feature of my game, i think, is that you can save anywhere unlike the final fantasy style saving many people use, nothing against FF, which I love, whereas mine i more like a Golden Sun saving system. I don't know how you add day and night systems, and stuff like that, I would LOVE to find out though. Here is the

I've only seen Selena before, so I used Silena. Small compensation, but it helps. I can't figure out the demo, I put it up but I when I download the game is says "File cannot be opened". ANyone know what's u wth this?

You have to upload the screenshot files first to a site. I used Photobucket.com. Then all you have to do is just copy the IMG address or whatever below the picture you want, and paste it here. It should show up.

For the demo, you have to upload that too to a site (It takes forever though...) I used Megaupload.com. There should be something called a "download link" around there after you uploaded it, and all you got to do is copy it, and paste it here.

Thnks Muraiko! My demo didn't work though, but the link does. I'll try megaupload, see if that works. I'll have some pics in my next post, hopefully. I feel dumb, how do I take a screenshot? I tryed F10 but it didn't work, as it does for other games.....

non-teh-less the screen shots show promising results...
but after reviewing the demo I found it to seem like a prorotype everyday rpg( no offense)
It just seems like how everyother RPG turns out... But that battle screenshots look convincing
and ouuta what i seen ( Not many RTP!!) nice job on it

No offense taken at your comments Felix-O. It will get better, i'm soon adding a HUGE plot twist, and yes the chars are from Lunar Legends. I promise to improve in any way possible.
