Not much merit can be given to creationism. Most evidence supports evolution.
Most particularly, a recent observation in a bacterial E-coli strain that after 32000 generations of being exposed to high environmental concentration of starches, rather then proteins, the bacteria has literally evolved in front of our own eyes.
This only goes to further support Darwin's theory.
The bottom line is that "God" in the literal and biblical sense, does not exist, and has not existed for quite some time, if any time at all.

If the ultimate gial in life is happiness then just be happy and make the best of what you have instead of worrying over some concept you don't know the truth of and most likely never will.
