I pronounce it like Alex too. Well, minus the bad-*** Italian accent, but, y'know. With a "chap" ch, rather than a "character" ch.

I learned it with a "ch" instead of a "ck" sound, because the friend I learned about this place from always talked about it with a "ck" sound. I've always though it was supposed to be "ch", but since I learned to say it differently, I say it that way.

Anyway, kinda crazy hearing what everyone sounds like now. The next step is Skype, though that's a big jump.
