That was a great movie, but there was one scene that made it seem silly. Johnny Depp was supposed to kill this guy, but he took too long with his singing, then some other dude came in and ruined it. I don't remember the setup exactly, but if he hadn't been singing he would have been able to kill the guy!!!

I've seen the first HSM. I had nightmares soon after. I also saw a bit of DeathNote. It's weird pace just turned me off on continuing. I heard the manga is better, which always is.
