I love my cock eh?

Why do people say Cock instead of Rooster?

Anyway, yeah. In real life pokemon would be a guy with a van filled with animals, they then release their animals into an arena and the guy shouts orders at his animal so he can rip the other one apart.

Well I popped in my copy of Red yesterday and the following came to my mind:

1) Say something about the irresponsible adults who let 10 year old boys go out into the dangerous wild to fight and catch dangerous monsters by themselves.

2) Something about Prof. Oak. I mean, he's a pretty dumb professor if he can't even remember the name of his grandson and...

3) The name of the boy who lives in his town, a town with only three HOUSES. Where do the students live? Why is the world so small? Where are the houses and why do some houses not even have doors?!

Also, in Ruby/Sapphire, your character starts in a truck (because you just moved in).
Where did the truck come from? Well, I didn't beat the game yet, so I don't know... but how the hell did it manage to get from where it comes from to the town? There's only routes filled with grass, cliffs and such. There's no way a truck can pass.

And in Red/Blue, every time you see Gary, you kick his arse (well, if you're trained enough). Yet, he always beat gym leaders first and if I remember correctly, he is the last boss, the Pokémon master.

Why do some bug catchers catch 6 of the same Pokémon?

Why is Mewtwo number 150, while he's been created  from Mew?

If Alakazam loses a spoon, can I give him one of mine?

1) Because they're idiots. I mean, jesus. 6 of the same Pokemon never work.

2) Mystery.

3) Give him a fork, then he can stab someone.

EDIT:

You got my thoughts exactly Prpl. Looking forward to part 9.

You should've given more emphasys on how a self-proclaimed Pokemon expert doesn't have info in any pokemon other than the one he gives you.

Well, he doesn't seem to have that either since your pokedex isn't filled with Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaurs entries until you catch them(choose them). Not even the facts about the rivals poké is entered - only its' place on the list.

And how can you make a list when you don't know about all pokémons`?

And as Grandy stated, Everyone in Kanto and Jotho says that Prof Oak is the authority on Pokémon but his pokédex only holds 151 pokes even though There another 100-ish just some meters from the elite four.
He should know about them right?

Elm stated that Oak was researching the "Pokémon - human relationship" So in other words, that's where all his rambling about love comes from. He's trying to see which trainer is the best. A trainer who loves and care for his pokés or a trainer who only chose the strong ones.
No one knows, but he was smart enough to create the Pokedex. Just not smart enough to remember the name of the people around him.

"This is my Grandson, He's your rival. Whats his name again?"

(Enters Name)

LOL. That was kinda lame. I thought the silver and gold's version of the rival was so much more better.

EDIT:And yet I know more about pokémon than that old man will ever know.
Same here, unfortunately
Poor guy, he must have Alzheimer's, seeing as how you have to invent a name for his grandson
