That just means that they are not in 256 color. You can change this yourself if you have a program called "Ultimate Paint". If you don't, then you should download it, since it's very helpful.

Just open up the desired resource with Ultimate Paint, pick save as, and pick the option that says "256 color", and "PNG". It should work then.
