I think they all look great.  You very much capture their expressions and stuff.

Is this an actual project?  Like a game?

Looks great!
And I don't know, I do like how Twilight looks.

You should include Dr. Mullein in your game! Why? To boost my ego or something, pretty much...

It would absolutely 100% be a game if I could figure out how to handle chipsets. Right now, it's a thing I do idly while bored while trying to figure out how to handle chipsets.

Rarity and Pinkie idles done.

But Pinkie's idle is something you really need to see moving to appreciate. Yes, that's her IDLE, not a victory pose. I can already tell I'm going to need to sink huge time into her animations to really capture the character.

Did you ever play 'the way'? Most of this maps used invisible chipsets so you were walking around individually made paralax backgrounds. It looked hella impressive.  It's a lot of hard work but it might go with the pony thing better.

That.... THAT'S BRILLIANT. I'll still have to use standard chips for dungeons and stuff, but for things like Ponyville I can totally do that. Probably. If nothing else it's a hope!

C'mon Twi, you got this! Just... oh, well, maybe not.

Animated NMM idle.

ALMOST DONE with battle system mucking. Then I'll try to Moosetroop up some maps get a quickie demo ready, at which point I'll, like, make a game thread.

Looks a bit strange, but only a bit. Only redrawing every single chipset in this style would make things perfect, but that's simply not going to happen. If it's between looking slightly odd and not happening at all, I'll take close enough.

I'd suggest a more chibi-version pony for the worldmap. Besides that - you're doing great. Using them pictures in the chipset is working surprisingly well.

It's more a matter of stylization than anything else. As far as colors go, I think that the pony buildings match the default graphics surprisingly well.

Also, it's REALLY HARD to stay motivated on this project when I can look in any direction in the fanbase and see people doing things a thousand times better than my little pile of garbage. But, I attempt to persist.
