Here's an odd one;

Would anyone consider ripping a few PNG formatted Monster Sprites of enemies from Streets Of Rage 1 and 2?
Regular enemies and a few bosses please.
I need punk looking thuglike street urchens, and that game has plenty of it.

Oh goody goody I have a reason for a nostalgia trip. Booting up SoR2 on my emulator as I speak. I'll go through a few levels for you and rip what I can.

EDIT: Okay, I went through up until the end of Stage 3, and I come bearing gifts.


Galsia was meant to be called Garcia, but they messed up the translation. Also Knife Galsia, Brash, and whatever the green palette swap is called. I forgot to rip Surger from Stage 2.


Donovan and yellow Donovan.


Y, R, G and P Signals. They're in different positions because I have to take screenshots mid-battle and these guys refuse to pose for photoshoots.


Jack is a bioengineered supersoldier, created in a laboratory as an experiment to find out just how many knives one man can keep in his jacket. I also ripped Beano from Stage 3, but for some reason both these guys' outlines were black rather than dark grey, and since I was playing with only sprites on a black background it made it nigh upon impossible to flood-fill. I managed to fix Jack with some work, but I was too lazy to do Beano as well. He's just a palette swap, anyway.


Whip lady. Forgot her name.


Barbon. Was meant to be called Bourbon I believe, given that he's a bartender, but there you go.


Storm, Storm on bike, Tempest with pipe, and... red biker. Gale, I think. SCREW YOU GUYS, YOU GUYS ARE DICKS.


Hayato and Byatcko.


Jet. I will never forget that HOO-WUP sound effect as he piledrives you into the floor.


Green ninja whose name I have forgotten. Why are there ninjas on the Pirate Ship ride? I was going to rip the blue ninja but his constant dodging-and-punching infuriated me so much that I killed him before I could get a screenshot.

I played as Blaze. You might want Blaze as an enemy. I don't know.

It has been an honour playing one of my favourite games of all time for you. I'd be more than happy to continue tomorrow if there's anything else you want ripping. If there's any problems with any of those, like if I've forgotten to change some colour depths or something, let me know.

Why don't modern games have as much soul as Streets of Rage 2 does?
