Alright when i imported my char into rm2k3 the background color was always around him. like one time the background was red and there was always red around him. and this time it was greeen and green always went around him. and my comps being a b**** and wont let me insert my chars picture

Right.

Classic problem.

When you import resources it will show a preview of it.
During that preview you should click the background colour of the picture(it will flash if succeeded).
Then click "okay".

The colour you click on is chosen as "Transparent" and will no longer appear in the maker.

And it's done, no more coloured boxes stalking your chars.
