I'm getting a little anxious. They closed down a local school district for two weeks to nip the spread of this in the bud, so you know it's gotten serious. My campus has "WASH YOUR HANDS" signs all over the place and free hand sanitizer, and whenever somebody coughs, everyone around them suddenly gets all jumpy.

My main concern is my summer job and how this will affect it. I work at a concession stand, so if they close the city pools down, that's a huge problem for me.

Oh, and stop calling it swine flu, guyz! That's what the WHO says. The pork industry has their knickers in a twist about the name since it's affecting demand. Instead, they want you to call it "H1N1 influenza A." Like that'll catch on.
