Windows crashes for no ****ing reason whatsoever.

I usually do that if it starts acting up, like it won't show new files unless I refresh manually. Fixes the problem for me by closing Explorer.exe then restarting it.

Plus I don't like Mac's, mainly due to the fact that in my experience, they crash more than Windows (I'm not kidding).

I'm sure they're more stable now, right? I mean, they keep bragging about it in all their commercials, right? It's like it's their only real selling point, right? It must be 100% true, no exceptions, right?

On the topic of operating systems:
I have 10.4. It never really crashes on me, but every once and a while it will freeze, and require a reboot. I'm not afraid to admit that Mac OS has plenty of issues. I've used Mac OS 9, 10.3, 10.4, and 10.5. None of them are perfect. They are all far from perfect.

That being said, I'm not afraid to admit that Windows has a lot of flaws as well. I didn't have a Mac as a home computer until 2005/6ish. I used Windows up until that point. I've used Windows 95, 2000, XP, Server 2003, and Vista.

Coming from a guy who has ample, unbiased experience from both ends of the spectrum... Neither is better than the other.

Even if you did start to compare them, you'd have to make sure everything was fair. You'd have to have to make sure the system specifications of the two machines were the same. You'd have to make sure each OS was out-of-the-box unaltered. Files they came with, software they came with. You'd have to make sure they were both the same architecture (32bit, 64bit, etc.). Running at the same resolution. The point is, at that point, what´s the point? (pointpointpoint) In making it fair, you're making it unfair, because obviously these are very strict conditions, and they certainly don't apply to any normal situation. It's just not worth it to even start to claim one operating system is better than another.

Which is why I find Rahl's anti-Mac stance so abrasive. I couldn't care less if you prefer one operating system or another, but for ****'s sake, say that. Don't phrase it as if it were a fact, because it isn't. And if you're going to go ahead and say "Macs are crap", at least have some valid reasoning behind it.

And no, [Insert joke about Apple overpricing their products here] does not count as valid reasoning.

Ok these are my reasons for hating Mac. Pros-Cons of both systems.

Mac Pros-Cons=

-Its cool that mac only has a monitor built in computer.
-Some of the little effects that Mac have are cool.
-IPhones are just awesome
-Mac Laptops are thin as hell and that pretty awesome.
-They run pretty smooth

-The average user has to take out a morgage on thier house to get a mac. that you could pay 1/3 of and get a PC with the same or BETTER stats.
-You can't play older games and many newer games on them.
-I hate the one button mouse.
-The file arrangement system blows, you can never find anything.
-The commercials say macs dont get viruses I say BULL S HIT, becasue my friend got one that fucked his computer to hell, viruses are for Mac people jsut BUILD them for PC's becasue its easier and more people use PC's.
-Mac do NOT support adding new hardware or customizing you computer, which means you have to take out another morgage on your house to buy the new one when yours is out of date.
-Those paper this macs Look cool, but the thinner they are the less sturdy they are as well.
-Macs are good for making graphically media, and THATS IT.

PC Pros-Cons=

-PC's are very customizable.
-They are very affordable.
-They are extremely gamer friendly.
-They are very easy to use.
-They use a root folder system which makes things alot easier to find.
-The are compatible with nearly everything.
-Most things are made for them.
-And again you can CUSTOMIZE them, which I can't stress enough.

-PCs are often unstable which is often not the developers fault but rather the people that make the virus, and also often the reponsibility of the owners which download movies and songs from unsavery websites and sharing software.
-PCs inevitably slow down after so long after the installation of the operating system, but this is because they more you add to it the more it has to read through, and the more you surf the net with it the more viruses its gonna get.
-You hear PC owners constantly complain about viruses when there are **** loads of free anti-virus scanners out there, and they just need to not be stupid abotu what they do to begin with.

For the most part my severe dislike of Macs come from people who keep bashing PCs instead of thier own stupidity, people who hype Macs all to hell. I mean its like the hybrid of computer now, theres so much damn smug I'm choking on it (view south park for reference). So yes I hate Macs with everything in me, and yes "pizzing on a Mac" is on my bucketlist.
