A lot of girls like yaoi, but frankly I don't understand it. Why would I want to look at anime guys kissing (or worse)? Might as well go do it for real. Of course, looking at yaoi's safer than going to a bar and trying to find a guy... but still. It's like a lot of guys' obsession with porn; why would you want to look at sex when you could just go out there and do it? Meh, I guess I just don't understand it.

I think part of it is the fact that sex requires some effort and "skill" that she could be judging you on. Masturbating to porn probably isn't as exciting but it doesn't put you on the spot.

And yaoi? The thing with two guys getting it on, other than 1 + 1 = 2, is it's totally nonthreatening, and in addition you don't have to ponder whether any of the guys would give you the time of day. No-possible-win situation, no possibility of any self-esteem wounding rejection.

I met my girl online, not so much through a dating site as a gaming site and have been talking with her for over 4 years now. I've been actually seeing her for over 3, this makes the 3rd summer we have spent together, and we have been engaged for 1 year now. Long distance relationships are really hard but in this case it worked out really well. If you have to date online make sure you are everything you say you are and you can trust whoever it is they say they are.
