help please

im new and i download charas project ex and save it to my thing but when i uploaded it to my rpg maker 2003 it keeps the backround does anyone know how to get rid of it? if so please tell me

Just click it when it gives you a peview of the uploaded charaset. It should flash, that means it'll be tranparent when you import it. Go do that and tell me if it works.

Just make sure that the backround hasn't got the same colors as the picture you're trying to import.
I had the same problem when I started using RPG makers.
