Seeing as how it's TOMORROW I feel this is appropriate. Although as I recall many members don't live in the US and probably don't celebrate this holiday... but whatever.

This year I am going 50 miles away and celebrating with the "cool" side of my family... which probably means drinking with a bunch of hicks... yeah.

I am thankful for the company Rare, and all the amazing games it has brought us. And family/etc...

Thankful for a Sick Puppies concert I'm going to this weekend.

I get the dubious pleasure of airport travel to cross the country and see my folks for one of the few holidays I get off work.

Saying things like that in comparison to the rest of ya'lls responses makes me start to realize that I'm getting old

As for me, I'm thankful for a lot of things. Friends, family, not contracting diseases from the multitude of insects that bite me in the summer, video games, Jackie Chan, Bruce Campbell, etc.

I'm thankful that I made my connection flight in Atlanta after my first flight was a half hour late getting in. Running a mile or so through a crowded airport with a laptop bag strapped around your neck wasn't the best experience but will probably make a good holiday story later.

My folks aren't celebrating the holiday itself with the extended family until Saturday since my aunt couldn't get up here until then. For today we'll probably watch the Lions lose and chill.

This is gonna sound cheesy, but things have been changing for me a lot lately. I finally broke up the old band that wasn't going anywhere and it's been a lot more of a relief than I imagined. Far too stressful, not fun at all. I've made better friend choices and college has been actually very good for me, I enjoy it a lot more than high-school. Though I do still have a habit of falling behind on some work, I mostly get it done.

Things have just been good, and I feel happier than I was a year ago. I'm thankful for this and the chance to make these changes.
