So the Halo: Reach beta starts Monday. Who's excited for that? I sure was.

Now, I'm pretty pissed. My Xbox went and E 74'd on me. That means it fucked up, and I need to send it in for repairs.

I can expect the shipping box to arrive in at least two business days. Of course, it took over a month from start to finish for me to have my Xbox repaired last time it had a hardware failure.

I ****ing hate this. Thank God my warranty is still good for this ****.

Turns out Bungie will drop Halo, and start developing new, multiplat IPs. A shitty inhouse studio of Microsoft will continue to develop (drive into the ground) Halo games.

Yeah, Microsoft own Halo. They have their own dudes doing it now, you may have read about them, <a href="http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/343_Industries">343 Industries</a>.
Bungie will not be doing any more Halo games unless Microsoft ask them to or something. I don't much faith in 343I but my point is you won't be seeing Halo on other consoles.

By the looks of things, I doubt you're missing much. It looks like Halo 3 with custom loadouts and terrible game balance. It is Halo: Future Warfare 2.

I prefer developer commentaries, it lets you know what kind of people you're dealing with. In this case, social retards and frat boys.

They talk about game balance and then go on to say that one weapon is totally amazing and is the be-all-end-all way to win. That smacks of Modern Warfare 2.

I'm not saying I know what it's actually going to be like, or that you're wrong to look forward to it. I just think it looks underwhelming compared to the hype we've seen and heard. I might still buy it, but it probably won't be on release.
