Eh... I'd like the quit smoking... get a full time job. Some other personal things.

But mostly, none of that is likely to happen. New Years Resolution are kind of silly. I get people feel empowered by the new year, but there's nothing really special about it. If you're going to make a change, any day of the year is a good day to start.

I'm pretty sure it's a bit more complicated than that, though some people manage to quit overnight.

I'd like to get a job, finish school (the very little that is left) and maybe get in a relationship... maybe... pretty much the same thing I want each year. Oh, and I should stop procrastinating, too, that would help... and maybe stop overusing the three dots... but that's very unlikely.

I say you should quit smoking right now. Throw away all the cigarettes you have on you, don't buy any new ones, drink water when you feel the need to smoke, and there you go. Don't wait until you get lung cancer, thats a little too late.

But I feel like such a cool kid.

None I guess. I always stride towards becoming a better person. Don't want to compare it to the year before and see "hmm, did I do better now or did I fail?"
New year resolutions to stop drinking and smoking usually fails 15minutes after they are taken, but they are great for people who have a hard time actually doing what they tell themselves that they need to do.

Most people I know says "Work out more" or "Eat less food".

This is my first ever year making resolutions.

My Resolution this year is to gain Thirty Pounds.

This sounds easy. But Its not. Ive got a hyperactive metabolism. Im going to use quitting smoking as a method to shock my metabolic rate into behaving like a normal persons.

I meant powdered protein.

But be warned- I knew a guy who was so skinny he started taking pills and protein to gain weight. Now for some reason he's obese.

As a fat guy, I can't imagine wanting to gain weight for any reason. It just seems so illogical.

I know a lot of people who gained a lot of weight after they quit smoking. I think smoking increases your metabolism. SO when you quit, you continue the habit of eating more to satisfy increased metabolism, of course, since you quit, you don't have an increased metabolism anymore and you just get fat.

Lose more weight. I've already lost about 25 kilos or so, but that took a lot of effort. I have the slowest metabolism known to man, I swear; I eat much less than most people and my weight is still basically stagnant unless I exercise a lot more and drop my eating even lower.

My New Year's Resolution is so stick to a New Year's Resolution. Therefore, if I do absolutely nothing
I'll have fulfilled it, even though it technically doesn't exist in a physical form. Smart, eh?
