Which doesn't help the "overused" factor.

Seriously, it's getting extremely ****ing annoying.

For added annoyance, you can combine memes, like thus:

Curved swords are approximately 20% cooler than your average sword.

Started playing Skyrim a few days ago. Good game, way too full of glitches but eh, Bethesda.

I'll be honest. I love Skyrim. I really do. But I rarely ever play.
Sure, having a job and all does that, but... for some reason, I rarely ever truly feel like playing either. Even though I love the game.
Not sure why, but that's how it is.

Vacations start soon, so maybe I'll feel like playing during those.

Honestly, I feel the same way. It's not the game's fault, it's me. I find myself not wanting to play games more and more often. When I do feel like sitting down and playing a game, I tend to find myself neck-deep in Battlefield. It's hard.

I used to love this game. Only problem is it gets... very, very repetitive, and quite fast.
But yeah, I did enjoy it a while ago.

What sucks is that I'll some times play a game I used to play before for nostalgic effect and... I just don't really get into it as much as I used to.
Or I will do, but for only a short while.

And when I get new games, I play for some time and... just don't feel like playing it anymore. Even though I do love the game.
I still have plenty of games I like and would like to beat, but when I start playing, I just end up stopping after 10-15 minutes...

I don't feel it becomes repetitive. I mean, it does, by nature, but it never feels that way. Not to me.

Games need that oomf-effect that makes you crave for more. Some games got it, some games don't. Monster hunter for example isn't the game you just long to play. You more sit down and play it because it's fun. An rpg isn't something you just sit down and play when you got 30minutes to kill. It's something you spend an afternoon or a day with, simply because it's great to feel that you're making progress, moving towards a goal of sorts.  This is where MMO's are great. They kinda offer a bit of both. Progress and fun.

Problem with oblivion for me was that there was more interesting games that I wanted to play more. Playing oblivion ended up being kinda "meh" after doing some thousand quests, fun at first but not really rewarding. I do a quest but it affects nothing. Which I guess is why I don't feel like playing it again or starting a new character.

I usually pick up old games if it's been like 5 years or more since I played it though. Just realized that Twilight princess was released back in 2006. So I popped it in and started playing it again. Couldn't even remember the bosses in the fire and water temple. It's fun to play and I kinda want to play it when I'm not. But it will be put back into it's place once I finish it. I
