Persona 4 Golden 'surprisingly' had a porno dedicated to it that came out in the same month. I doubt a 3ds game can boast that.

Very true, but sadly it isn't even in 3D and lacks touch controls.  What's the point in this day and age?

So it's been a while and I'm sure as hell enjoying my summer (when not working or eating of course).

Let's see then.

Mario kart 7. Good game but the Ai can go screw a voltorb or something. Goddamn. Get zapped 1 time and blue shelled twice during the first goddamn lap. And 150cc is hard. The AI just spams items at ya. I have trouble actually completing cups. And when I do I rarely got 1st place every course with 10 coins... Just wish that I had more friends with a 3ds. Like 70% of mario kart is playing with your friends.

Super pokemon rumble. I loved pokemon rumble but once again I'm kinda missing the coop here. Smashing pokemon left and right is awesome and in this game we have all the pokes which is even more awesome (the first rumble only had gen 1 and 4). Actually got a story mode and some more varied areas (and a lot more areas). Overall it's like rumble only goooooood.

Resident evil revelations. Great game, some classic feeling. Just a bit sad at the loading times when swapping between certain different parts of the "world". Also great that they added the "Raid mode" which was more like resident evil 5 with weapon shop and coop play. Also life bars and stages without puzzles or story in raid mode for those who just want to shoot some creeps.

Heroes of ruin. It's pretty much a diablo only it's not diablo. You pick a class out of 4 possible. Then you run around a cut enemies to death, level up, spend your stat points, spend points to learn skills and gear up from loot. Dungeons are somewhat randomized when entering and interestingly enough enemies respawn in dungeons over and over again. Been meaning to play it online but haven't done it yet. Game looks kinda awful though. But turn on the 3d setting and it actually looks a lot better.

Ocarina of time. Always loved this game and the remake seems pretty solid to me. Can't remember last time I played non-master quest though. 3d effects are really well done in this game and it feels and acts like the original. Pretty much the same sounds used and layouts are the same. Inside of houses are a bit updated with stuff in the foreground and such. Kinda cool.

So I'm happy with my 3ds and thinking about getting tales of abyss, never got it for ps2.

I would recommend the PS2 version of Tales of the Abyss.  The unvoiced and unskippable skits really cause the game to come to a screeching halt every couple of minutes.

Unskippable? You mean I can't just not press start?

Because I'm too busy pressing start and reading them to have tried.

You have to press start.  You have to.  It's like going in to a supermarket and there is a lady with a platter of suspicious looking meats and cheeses that are free samples.  You don't HAVE to have one, but you know damn well that you will.

So ultimately it's your fault if you get caught in a skit.

Where's my "Deal with it" picture?

Yes.  It is irresistible.  You must watch the skit simply because they prompt you to.  Therefore, you're better off playing a game with skits that don't give you diarrhea.

I'm not jaded by voiced-over games, so it doesn't cause me any sort of stomach issues.

On the other hand, I am hopelessly addicted to Pepto Bismol...
