Yay!  You reviewed the game!

Ya, the missing sound effect should have come up in testing.  Sorry about that.  The rest was deliberate.  If you ate enough unusual objects or key items, you couldn't get any farther.  Without anyone telling you, of course.

And the graphics were made in about 10 minutes in paint.  Shoulda made them more pukesome, although Pokemon was indeed an influence.  The gibberish spoken by aliens was English halfassed to Russian, butchered back to English, sent through Enigma coding, then converted to faux-Russkie (pronunciation and such).

Seems like a lot of trouble for the equivalent of rolling your face on the keyboard. :P

Then again, for a game that involves going to hell and back just to get some bourbon, that's pretty appropriate.

Any particular reason you chose Communism as the alien language?

Why Communist moonspeak (I forgot to mention there IS some legit speak in there)?  Mainly for shigs and gittles.  I like the overly complicatedness of stupidity.

I liked it. Still not exactly the kind of game I'd like reviewed, but I liked it. Shame there were bugs, yeah...

Oh and by the way, that music you thought would give you something played backward... It's actually [noembed]this.[/noembed]
I won't lie, I don't know the origin of it, but I had seen it before and recognized the music.

We have a tag that removes that feature.
I can't remember what it is, though.

Thank you for posting that, Fruck. The embed thing is nice and all, but sometimes it's better just to have a link. I'll have to go through and edit my original post with that when I get a chance (aka when I'm feeling less lazy).

I think we should have some sort of PSA about it.

Maybe when Mic makes the next NewsIsCool, he can put it up there.

Personally, I kinda like the ways your reviews are showing on your main post. But well, of course, it's up to you to decide. Guess it may become a very long post when you do more reviews...

Or well, I guess you can leave it as is for any new posts in the topic, but use the URL thingy on the main post, yeah. I guess it'll look better than Spoiler Tags.
More reviews, plz.

Well, thanks for that, I now know the origin of the origin!
The accordion player looks... very not-happy to be there. Probably the first to jump into action and tear the enemies apart. I can see it in his eyes...

Welp, now that that's over, I'm going to keep tinkering with RMXP and work on something serious.  Thanks for reviewing my game, Nat!
