Newest Version of iTunes

It's been out for months, but all i have to say is that they FUCKED UP BIG TIME!!!  They took away the best way to scroll through your music and half the **** it used to do like create MP3s doesn't work!! You make them and it's like oh, I can't play the file though!  You change settings and it always changes it back!  Whoever designed it needs to be fired and slapped across the face!  It's just like the piece of **** new design of Gametrailers.  I'm sure we all use Gamefaqs on occasion or used to and it hasn't changed all that much and it works great!  ARRRGGGHHH!!! lol i'm done.  Needed to flip out and see if anyone agrees with me :P

I only buy physical copies of my music. I like having something I can truly own. Also, I keep hearing this kind of bullshit about iTunes and similar digital stores.

I'll admit this: If something is only available via digital download, I pirate it. I do not feel it's worth my money if I can't actually buy it (or worse, if I have to jump through hoops or DRM woes to use it). Put it on an EP or single or whatever, but don't restrict my options.

I buy them physically too, whenever I can.  I admit that the habit does limit your music listening slightly.

I prefer digitals because having physicals takes up space hahaha

This is why I won't update to newer iTunes. I hadn't heard anything, but I figured it would just get shitter with more DRM bs. I'm sure you can uninstall it and find an older version online somewhere.

Also, I never buy anything at the iTunes store so I never have much of a problem with that. It's always physical copies if I can get them. That way if my computer crashes or iTunes takes a ****, it won't delete everything off my ipod when I reinstall it.

I buy the album and then I download the songs illegally. I figure since I can't transfer my songs to my mp3 player or whatever I have to download it. But I have paid for the album in case someone would accuse me for not supporting the bands.

I really don't see the point of the iTunes store.

The lesser known bands music can only be found on iTunes store sometimes.  And I got an external harddrive for my backing up ish.

That is true, but I can't say I'm underground enough to know or care about those bands.

I use the iTunes store to buy music all the time.  A lot of the music I buy (classical genre cd's or oboe recital cd's) aren't available in stores.  Not to mention its really convenient for me.  I tend to ruin CD's pretty quickly so its safer for me.  I honestly kinda like the new iTunes set up.  It works better towards how I normally use it.

You act as though it's impossible to rip the music using any old built-in music player (Windows Media Player), then leave the CD in its case for safe keeping. Or, as though copying CDs is difficult and/or expensive. Difficulty finding a song? Best excuse. All others are ignored.

The old way to scroll through your entire music library where it displayed album artwork and u simply horizontally went through them and the tracks were listed under it.  It was fast but not so fast you'd keep over shooting.

The other reason is the way I make my songs MP3s. Finale saves them as WAV files which are ridiculously big so iTunes converts it to MP3 and then I increase their volume using MP3Gain.  A nice little system.  But when iTunes creates an MP3 and then can't even play it!? Somethings obviously wrong and it's extremely frustrating.

I always use audacity to create my mp3's since I can edit the volume in it at the same time.  And a lot of the time I'll just record my computer playing it using the Stereo Mix mic setting so I skip making the wav file.
