I think it's an HD screen or something.  But you can go on Nintendo's website and they'll go into it with greater detail and you'll learn more about the system.  It's a win win lol

From what I understand, the graphics on the gamepad are not hardware driven, they're streamed from the Wii U itself. So to put it simply, they look the same as they would on your TV, just scaled down to fit a smaller screen.

Sounds right.  All you need to know is that the screen displays things great.  The controller itself is great too and enhances gameplay.  I don't know what the touchpad on the ps4 does though and honestly don't care, but the gamepad's screen does well to make things easier to do and brings about a different experience.

So what are some differences between this one and Tri?

Number of monsters!  Tri only had 18 large monsters...

Ultimate has 11 newer monsters to the game and some subspecies of old ones bringing the large monster count up to 50!

so 18 to 50.  18... 50... big change.

Village has way more quests with higher rank and there's also a new area called Misty Peaks.  There's other crap but yeah it's gonna be great.

There are actually 51 large monsters in ultimate, also, there are 5 more minor enemies, you know - Cannonfodder stuff.

Also new weapons and armors and new looks of old weapon and armors.
The inclusion of the missing weapon classes such as bow, gunlane, dual blades and horn.
A second sidekick who is more oriented towards attacking to contrast cha-cha's tendency to just kite enemies and sing songs.
And there are more enemies that can appear in the deserted island while doing resource gathering, such as the black diablos. Nice...

I made them, have enough lego stored to create a copy of skyrim or something.

They actually have a tab at the same page called "number of monsters - comparison with previous games", it said 51 there.

Lol i always tend to do things the hard way, but at least I saw a missing monster.  I'm pretty sure it's Hungry Deviljho though.  I wish they kept Tigrex in the game, but it's whatever.
