NEW MEMBERS: About the Annoying Captcha

If you're reading this then you are most likely a new member and have noticed our desperate anti-bot protection.

The Captcha that you are forced to enter is of really low quality (I know) and an action we had to take in order to stop a huge flood of bots spamming the forum with pictures and links around 2 years back.

Newly registered accounts are nowadays forced to enter a bot-proof Captcha (that is almost human-proof as well) AND answer 6 questions until they have reached 5 posts. So hang in there and it will go away. I promise!

Or just PM me or write here and I'll remove it for you.

Anit-bot? Never heard of one, but I must say I looked at the capitcha that some of the n00bs mentioned and MAN O_o That is irritating, but I must admit it's a great bot deterrent. I mean before anybody critisizes it let us count how many bots, or trolls even, have appeared to flame, pic attack and spam us to death? *Holds up hand* Oh my o.o Seems we're a bit low on bots recently eh? ^_^ Heh heh. I mean the last time I saw one the stupid birthday board was showing an old porn-bot's name I think I recognized and I was all "What?! Bots don't need birthdays!" and thought about ranting...but eh I was too busy slaying dragon slayers.

Wow, that last questions was a little harder than using the toaster. Maybe not so much as the four slotted ones though.  Thems are worse. 

So my answers were:

spam bot
spam bots
spam bot issues
serious spam bot issues
bots

I was amazed.  It seems like the last answer is always the one that works.  Thanks for the security.  I am happy to be part of a community that takes bots seriously as you do.
