Here is a guide I've tried using before. I  want to understand how to make my own floor and walls for Vx Ace. Yes, I know it goes over this but I want someone to just simplify it for me.
To be blunt, I'm tired of going over this tutorial and making stuff in Photoshop that flat out doesn't look right in Vx Ace when imported.

I can get the templates, the size and make even a grid or anything necessary to try to make what I draw work in Photoshop. So if you recommend copying a tile and flipping it horizontally say so! Or make it parallel to a certain tile, please say so as well.

At this point I'm a little frustrated and feel as though I'm missing a piece of information as to how these tiles fit together.

I want to learn how to make the walls chipset and the floor chipset and then I'm good to design whatever I want.
