DK Country (I was young, and I sucked when I last played it)
Illusion of Gia (got stuck on what to do next)
Final Fantasy X (I absolutely hate the game, but I want to beat every final fantasy, even the bad ones)

Oh, Metroid Prime triology. Good games, they are on sale on Wii U at the moment for like 10€.

Also, castlevania, any one. They are pretty much the same thing.
I suppose that some fighting games also count as classics. Like Dead or Alive, or a Tekken, perhaps a Soul Calibur - Mortal Kombat, everyone needs to play mortal kombat 3 ultimate. Such simple fun.

I can't really recomend Mass effect, dragon age or the Witcher though. They are kinda special and not for everyone.

Yup. Bought it and am (re)playing through it right now. God I love me some Metroid.
