Best program to use for these sprites

C.Notex:
A few friends of mine are teaming up to make a huge video game and we want to use this sprite maker to make some of the characters and monsters but we can't find any programs that can animate or tell us how to animate them. Are there any recommendations you guys have? If so tell me so we can get this project started!  :yell: :]]

Relux the Relux:
First, please don't use dark letters to write here, because it makes a bit hard to read.

Second, the sprites are animated inside the engine that you use to make the game and you don't need external programs for that.

Lastly, since it seems that none of you have any experience, are you sure you should aim for "a huge video game" as your first project?

Also, would be a bit easier to help if you told us any specifics (like the engine you're using). By the way, since you wanna recommendation for spriting, I use Paint.NET for all my spriting and pixelart needs.

Prpl_Mage:
RPGM2k3 basically animates the sprite sheets based on the type.
Charsets are looped middle, right, middle, left and repeat.

So it all depends on what you are trying to do.
