What they've got up for offer looks like a more professional, more versatile version of the Charas sprite creator. I think I'm gonna go for the $10 bundle and see if I put it to any use eventually. There's quite a lot for ten bucks, including the RPG-style characters (smaller bundles have game effects and platformer sprites and such).
If the video is anything to go by, the sprite program lets you design your own animations from pieces, which is actually really cool. I'm looking forward to toying around with it.

Just bought it -- there's only like a day left. Looks like, among other things, a game engine to make tiny games (a la NES cartridges or smaller?), a game engine to make platformers, and a game engine to make voxel-based games like Minecraft. Again, not sure how much I'll actually end up using, but that is just too cool and I'm glad to have them available.
