Hey, I didn't get anything finished. Right after this work announced $1 margaritas and I worked 40-60 hours a week. Most time went to finishing my costume for Comikaze.

Everyone who submitted a story, plus everyone else who feels like it, please read these short stories (or opening chapter in my case) and message the stories' authors' names (excluding your own) to me, in order of preference. I shall collate the results and post the winner!!!

I read all the entries and they are all good in their own ways. I got the feeling that suspense was on most of our minds, keeping the reader a bit in the dark and revealing more and more as the story progressed.

Maybe we should do this more often?

I enjoyed all the entries! I loved Drace's descriptive writing, the lore and characters of Prpl's, Momeka's mad imagery, and the insanity of Fish's one was good fun too : p

Plenty of people still need to vote! Just PM me a list of the authors (other than you) in order of preference, and then from that I shall work out the scores. If not, I'll work out the winner from the people who have already given votes, but it'd be nice to have some more : )

Darnit I never got around to finishing. Between having such a good holloween the only thing I did was write RPs that night and finding out my renter left my backup home in such terrible shape it may never be livable again and using a new dating App I forgot/wasn't in the right frame of mind! @_@ Can I edit and finish it or that against the rules?

It's been a good first contest with some cool entries. Everyone was given points based on where they came in people's rankings. And the shocking result is...

It's a draw between Prpl and Momeka, both on 17 points!!!

Geez, how did that happen!? If you ask me the true winner is purple, his story is way more thought out and well crafted than my little thing. Wouldn't mind you reading it though, sounds like fun.

So about compiling all the story into a pdf/ebook and posting it on the charas itch.io, is people down for that? Anyone who doesn't want their entry in it? And would anyone be up to write a little foreword thing about the community?

Both stories are really good actually, I think you're underestimating yours, Momeka. I enjoyed all the entries and thought everyone did a good work. It's a shame Fish didn't finish his, the only problem I had with it was that it seemed sometimes convoluted xD But all the entries were really enjoyable.

 If a second round is considered, I'll definitely join, I now got a few interesting ideas.

Yeah dammit, you can't win everything, that's sooo unfair.

And yes, I'm down for the pdf book thing, I might write a short foreword but I might need some pointers so I don't drift off topic
