So I was testing our keyword power ,little data anaylst thing I do as an unpaid hobby, and I typed in Spring Valley then adjusted it when I remembered there's a farm sim app named just Spring Valley to the "The Mystery of Spring Valley" and the Youtuber who played our game popped up and made me smile, then a link to the game standard stuff....Then this:

Somebody compared us to Cthulhu Saves the World. TuT I am so touched I can't even type I'm crying little tears of joy. This is why I love inserting random things and systems into stories on RPG Maker with you guys. People DO like what we make.  It bolsters me, especially when my mother grates at me with 'you don't make any money off these so why do it' nonsense and I thought my whole team and more importantly my Dev Friends here needed to see that. I hope it makes you realize we gave blood and sweat and stupid thinly veiled puns to this game and it impressed somebody enough tio compare us to a game that still gets mentioned in cult circles to this day.

Nice to see, I remember a few people making videos or commenting about our previous games as well, and by looking at other people playing I realized that we probably need like a Wiki or a guide or something for some other games because they can be kinda hard at times.

But yeah, we've made some great projects since 2013 and I've learnt a lot. Doesn't mean I necessarily make better design decisions but I feel like I have a better sense of what works and not at least.

I know of two people who made videos and I still need to comment on one. I always think you should do that even on big media projects let alone in the indie bis where we have no excuses not to. I also think one of the undeniably awesome things was as we made Chain Games we all leveled up our skills. Sure we wrote some cringe stuff, or made too hard of a puzzle but next time we used what we learned and even tried some things we scraped right? One of the best things about the whole experience that's hard to explain to literally anyone who's never done it.

It's not about the chain games, but Charas is briefly mentioned in this video around 14:30

It's an online docuseries where they explore old digitial worlds and player created things. This is the episode about rpg maker. Randomly stumbled upon it on twitter last night.

That just destroyed any doubts I had that RPG Maker 2003 was always going to be my path. Also made me realize how much we owe to Don Miguel and how much I hope he wasn't killed in Russia recently. Just....phenomenal interview.
