These are pretty recent; I went to the meeting in Ohio organized by the Communist party of America (If it looks like it was taken in an industrial basement well... It was, kinda).

Does the CPA run candidates in election campaigns? I'm just curious, I think I met one of your presidential candidates at a Bernie Sanders rally in Vermont, but I'm almost certain it may have been a different socialist party.

We haven't had any presidential candidates with any significant influence or chance at success since Vietnam. By then thanks to a culmination of a series of unfortunate events there was too much stigma attached to the Communist/Socialist name. Nevertheless we managed to garner upwards of 72,000 votes. In early American history we were very neck and neck against the capitalist candidates but times back then were far more aggressive and candidates like Webb were simply imprisoned as they campaigned.
There was a meeting organized to support the Ferguson Protests, but the intention was simply to spread anti capitalist and pro racelessness and humanist and revolutionary rhetoric. I couldn't make that one.

I traveled a lot when I first moved here, but not so much any more.

I mean, I guess I do a little on my vacations. It's strange, but if you live in a place long enough, it stops being a magical journey, and just becomes part of life.

That's not strange at all, it makes a lot of sense. I've moved around quite a bit myself, though only within the US border, and I've found a similar experience. New and exciting doesn't last long enough.
