Well, some say that Xenosaga´s realted to Xenogears. Nobody can say for sure. Those who played Xenosaga could see, in the end----STOP----ULTRA-HUGE-SPOILERS-HERE!--- that kid that looked JUST LIKE Fei...ALSO, there´s Chief Uzuki, that has the same last name as Citan Uzuki....but still no one can say for sure.

But today I noticed something. In Xenosaga´s OST there´s a song called Kokoro that´s sung by (i think, better, i´m pretty sure) the same woman that sings Xenogear´s last song. I know they were produced by the same ppl (Square disbanded the Xenogears team and they altogether went to another company and made Xenosaga) but I think that´s enough evidence...Really, we´ll have to wait till Xenosaga Episode 3 comes out...

Any thoughts?

 They're two games completely different, the 'coincidenses' maybe are just... 'cameos', is that the name? Like in xenogears, there is a town where you can see a poster with Tifa in it, but Tifa has nothing to do with Xenogears

ehhh..if anything it's a prequel to xenogears. Before the technology crash landed on the planet. Myabe that was the technology? the characters suck compared to xenogears charas though. So does the plot.

Apparently....We´ve got to see the other Episodes to affirm so. I myself enjoyed Xenosaga a lot. It´s that Xenogears´s almost invencible, in every aspect

But Grandy, what about the evidences I presented? U think they´re  just coincidences or lack of criativity?

 The creators of Xenogears said in a interwiew on a games magazine (Game-X) that the 2 games are completely different, even if there are coincidenses but, you never know, do you?

I can say is fo rsure that xenosaga is related to xenogears the thing is that is the start of the series if u can see the gears are still in prototype just wait untill episode four and u'll see the link betwen them.

 So, only because there are gears, they MUST be related?

not just because of that is because in the explanation says is a prequel of the game.

Back in 1998, Square released Xenogears, a massive game that caused a stir due to its heavy religious and philosophical overtones. It was also a great RPG with some memorable scenes and a rather interesting but heavily complicated story. Flash forward couple years and Monolith announces that they're making a "prequel" to Xenogears, and it'll come out in 5 parts and probably span 3 systems by the time they're all finished. Reason why I say prequel in quotes is that it's not an official prequel like Resident Evil Zero let's say.
