I'm back from Alabama
« on: July 10, 2005, 01:36:02 PM »
Ok. I have returned from my week long vacation to Alabama. I have to say, that was my funnest stay there ever. I got to hang out with relatives and stuff, which was fun. Usually, I never talked when I visited them, but now, I actually have things to talk about, so it was hard trying to shut me up.

Anyway, my favorite day of the week was yesterday (Friday the 8th). I got to hang out with my uncle, aunt, and 4 cousins. The oldest cousin, Amanda (14), is my favorite and we talked for the first time on Tuesday. The weird thing was, we hugged and talked like we've known each other forever. She's a very pretty girl. My other cousins were at or under the age of 10. We all played on my Gamecube when we got back from lunch. The little boys played on it first whilst me and Amanda were talking to my parents and my aunt. After we had pictures get taken, me and Amanda went to the living room and played Mario Party 5. We had a blast. We ate dinner around 10:00 PM. We played Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for a while then we let the little kids play Mario Party 6. We then played Monopoly at about midnight and Emily (9) won, but only because my uncle was helping her. Amanda and I were going to stay up until 4 in the morning just talking and stuff, but everyone else went to bed and her dad (my uncle) made her go to bed. So, I followed suit and went to sleep.

We left this morning, though I wish I could've stayed their for another week. But, I have a job and I had to come back. Hopefully I'll see Amanda again before summer. She should be coming to my place next summer, so that'll be great.

Also, the title of cousin or big brother was one I never seeked... until now. I want to be a big brother figure to Amanda. I hope all goes well and we establish a strong relationship.

That's all about my vacation (everything else was fun, but I would be going on for hours if I typed everything).
