Al~Len's Compositions
« on: October 27, 2008, 10:45:35 PM »
If you have any free time, which I assume most people lingering around the internet do, than please open your ears to some of my more recent works. I'd really appreciate it.

With 380 plays in over two years, how could it not be good? o_o;

Comments are welcome.

EDIT:
I'll use this thread to post any recent midis if I feel like doing so.

Not bad. It's got a cavey feeling to it. Don't ask what that means, because while I fully understand it, it's impossible to explain.

I listened to them all... I must say they're very mellow, relaxed. Music I would listen to in my car.. if that makes any sense. Cause like, when I drive I zone out and this music, being almost otherworldy at times seems to match that. Sounds like... FL? One critique I have is you use the weird zoomy-sounding instrument too much... but overall really good stuff!

Correct, a demo version of FL Studio 7. I first make them in Guitar Pro 4 and eventually import a midi into FL and spend a while finalizing it in there.

You are likely referring to the Celestial synth in the Sytrus Synthesizer, it's the main melody in several of the songs. I'll certainly keep that in mind from now on. Thanks.

That's cool, I composed most of them while staring at the clouds out my window, but caves are good too. Thanks for listening.

A composition I did that was inspired by 'Dr. Wily Stage 1' from MegaMan 2.
