The twelve day of christmas are as follows (from day twelve to day one):

12 drummers druming
11 pipers piping
10 lords a-leaping
9 ladies dancing
8 maids a-milking
7 swans a-swiming
6 geese a-laying
5 golden rings
4 calling birds
3 french hens
2 turtle doves
(1) and a partrige in apear tree

Now ill start...

now it is up to all of you to make your own 12 days of christmas!

Hmm...

you know if my voice wasn't dead right now from being sick the last couple of days, I might actually make an mp3 and sing this (with changes that I see fit). Just a thought... as for my own 12 days... I dunno, I was really just making a possible foreshadowing post. :p

EDIT: I actually think this thread or another should be geared toward getting a final list for that, as I think what you did is a good idea, but could be refined more with what some of the things are, especially #5. Requests just doesn't exactly fit...

People should learn that they don't get to celebrate Christmas all December. It's one day, not one month. One 12th of the year is not dedicated to the holiday.

Yeah, I dunno. I don't watch much TV, especially in winterthymes.
It seems like people putting giant Santas on their roofs on Dec. 1st just seems inappropriate to me.
