MIDI Sequencers
« on: February 10, 2006, 09:27:03 PM »
DARNIT! I had no freaking clue where to put this! Sorry, but I had no other choice but to put this here. Darn it--one month, and I'm still a n00b...

Okay...uh...I'm looking for a (free) sequencer--one that doesn't need a MIDI Interface (unless that is mandatory--is it?)
Any recommendations?

Uh, the best freeware ones are NoteWorthy Composer and Anvil Studio, but you could probably get some better ones not for free, like FL Studio or Cakewalk or stuff like that.

There could also be a Finale program, but those programs are complicated till you get used to them.

the only reason you would need an interface would be if you used a MIDI controller. My recommendation if you do decide to get one: don't get an M-Audio Uno. It takes forever to begin working properly.
