the size of the sprites
« on: August 16, 2009, 05:50:23 PM »
hey guys i need some help with the sprites.

:hi: I need the sprites in a 32x32 pixel size so my gfx converter automaticly cuts those lists with chars in 32x32 sizes.
But the sprites are always split in pieces, i figured it would work if i could just make the list with all those sprites a little wider.
but i dont know how 2 make the picture wider cause when i try it automaticly also gets longer.
if someone know how i do that or maybe a better solution please say so I would be really thankfull :bend:

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're asking. You're using vague references to describe your problem. Could you be more specific? Maybe tell us what game maker you're designing these sprites for, what gfx converter you're using, what list you're talking about.

As far as the wider and longer issue, it seems you're scaling instead of skewing. If you scale something, both length and width increase. If you're skewing, just one will increase. Try to find the appropriate tool on your program for this operation.

We all appreciate your enthusiasm Titan, but please don't go way too far back in time, right now your a little over two weeks in the past.
Some of these people probably forgot about it.
