My New Series

Sooo...I wrote and co-produced a series and spec pilot for Canadian distribution.

We made different test versions of the pilot, and with the help of different test audiences (thanks Lucas and Fred for joining in!), we finally settled on one that seems to be a winner! My partner's in Banff right now meeting with execs- you can follow her live updates on twitter)

In a nutshell, the show is about two best friends moving out for the first time. Both they and their neighbours come from different cultural backgrounds. Unlike a lot of television, it treats ethnic people as real (normal!) people, without ignoring the influence of their backgrounds.
