War Chess...Battle Chess...??? Chess

Umm...I dunno if anyone has come up with this idea, but I just got this diea last night while I was in bed. I'm gonna make a game using chess pieces. My brother and I used to play a chess game when we were younger, and this is going to be the game, only turned into an RPG. I need chess pieces, though. Both black and white. Someone help please? New name would do too.

... cliches but sound ok for the type of game ure making. as for chess pieces, i think they will have to be custom made, or you can alwais get them ripped by someone or someone of the teams at charas-mini-teams

Maybe you could make it like a real war game but you use chess pieces instad of units. Then you could call it something like Frontal Assault Chess or the likes

Wow, no one replied for a while, and all of a sudden I got a lot of replies. That's cool. Anyway, it's a game me and my brother came up with. Here's the storyline. The queen of the kingdom gets kidnapped by the king of another kingdom and the king has to go in and get the queen back. The whole thing plays on a chess-like background, and you have to pass through each "board" in order to get to the king. Once you got there, you fight the king, and you win. That's the whole game. It does have RPG battle, though, so it isn't simply "hit the square of an opponent and you beat him." If you land on the same square as/collide with your opponent, you end up in an RPG style battle.

Yeh my rmxp system has a great chess set and the battle rpg style reminds me of Shining Force II when they got shrunk down and had to fight on a chess board.

Okay...and how exactly is that supposed to help me? If you're telling me to go download the game...then I should tell you that I hardly have hard drive space, and I'm lucky that my games all fit on the computer...

-sighs- is NO ONE willing to help me out? If you're thinking this is just a normal chess game, let me tell you it isn't. It's a lot different from chess. I need chess pieces in both charasets, and monster sets. I also need a chess board background...Can someone PLEASE help me?
