The cockatrice from NetHack. Goddamn those things were EVIL. Not only did a glance burn all my scrolls, but being with in hearing or sight range of them damaged me too! And when I finally slayed the beast, touching it's corpse turned me to stone! RAWRG!

I hate Mimics.

Oh boy, after going six levels into this incredibly dangerous dungeon, I found a chest! I hope it has a megalixer of sorts so my party does not die! Oh look! A mimic! Now I'm dead! I wish they put a save point in the game at some point with in the last 7 hours!
