Wanna be in FFT?

Attached below is the template for squire used in FFT. You may edit it in any way uou like, and stick anew face in place of the old one. Post it here, and I might use it in a special copy of FFT. Once a bunch of sprites for different classes are submitted, I'm ging to stick them all in an FFT iso and either 1.Burn it and offer it up as the prize for the next sprite contest, or B.Send it to the person who submits the best sprite.

Also, if you want to be a monster or a special character, say so and I'll send you a copy of that monster's sheet, since the only thing I can change at this point is sprites.

Very nice Osmose...may i ask...we can do watever we wish to edit the sprite? and you will use it? this seems very intesting i think i will bite....do you mind posting a few other characters as well or is this the only one you want us to use besides monsters

well i forget what they exactly look like so could you do three for me? the samurai, ninja, and knight....if its not to much trouble....and i was wondering can you do weapons? because i could edit one for my character as well

There's like... not enough to edit.. unless you erase some other stuff first. But they're pretty good.

Does the face have to be inverted colours?

No, the faces don't have to be inverted. They're like that because the sprite itself and the faceset each use different palletes, and I can only export it in one.

Yes, you need to edit the whole sheet, otherwise at some point in the game someone will be able to screw up your sprite by using something like sing.

It's for a modded version of FFT, duh.


Also, I'm working on finding a way to edit text in the game, allowing you to have your own class name and such.

EDIT - Grah! Alright, new rule of thumb is to only use 16 colors, including the black in the back. If you ue more than that I will convert it and try to clean it up myself, but be forewarned.
