Listening to music while making your game is very helpful (to me anyways). I was working on my game earlier, and I couldn't figure out how to code this thing I was working, so I stopped. I tried again later (with music on) and I figured it out. I also did a ton of other stuff needed to be done for my game. So I reccomend trying listening to music while working on Rm2k3, but it might not be for everyone. :)

I know how you feel. I usually make improvised RPGs, and, depending of the music, I get my ideas. Sad music, really good ideas in a situation like if a member of your party sacrifice, or action, in case of a(example) incoming fight with a boss that tell you something that is really important. Either way, I never finish my RPGs, so I'm working on a new one(I think it's the number 15). Hope that I get at least to finish the demo.

Happens to me. Today I was listening 'Melodies of Life' and I got this like super-cliché idea, but I changed it, now its better. And I owe all to Nobuo Uematsu.

I never do anything creative without the radio on. Turn it to 95.5 Classic Rock, start jammin to some Lynyrd Skynyrd and I'm good to go.

I can't stand doing anything on the computer without listening to music. I'm one of those people who hates total silence.

EDIT: But should this really be in the RM2K board?

Jeez, I can't ever even sit down to the computer without popping some tunes on. They help for everything.
