To me a good game much have at least one of the following:

- Nice graphics. Maybe a little stereotyped, but I like a game with at least medicore graphics. It makes it more enjoyable.

- Storyline. Now, the basic 'Oh no bad guy who kills everything and wants to destroy the world must be stopped, let me go on a guest to kill him with loads of non-storylined bosses to be slained and I need to start from being a normal peasent' type of story ain't good to me. Also a storyline used by an other famous game, so called 'fan games' don't fit for me to. I like an original storyline, an exiting one. One that grabs you from the first second you play to the last one and makes you think what will happen now that it all ended. I also like cliffhangers, though, I don't like to see a sequel of it.

- Different characters. With this I mean that all the characters react in different ways to different situations. Also that they are not like most characters of normal games.

- Some fun mini-games. Self-explaining.

- Litteraly days of fun. Games which are very good in story but lack it in lenght won't go for me. I like games which might take me weeks before I finish it. But too long ain't fun to.

- Hidden secrets/extra's. Some nice non-storyline related extra's or hidden places are nice. To get to know the world your on. Example: The Omega Dungeon in FFX.

- Different battlestyle. Give it some nice touches, make it so that it's different. Like a battlesystem that allows you to move some tiles. That's nice. Example: Monster Seed.

- Music. Can't have a sad scene with carnival music.

T-t-t-t-that's all folks. At least for now before my head explodes.

Hmm..

§ Adventure

§ Suprises (things that you'll never see coming how much you think about it)

§ Always different, when you do something, It's never or not usuall the same thing happens

§ Emotional something that touches you, makes you sad.. f.ex. when Sephiroth Killed aeris... something like that...

§ Random humor

§ Action

§ alittle Realistic (noone is invincible, everything has its weak points)

§ Fantasy nothing is too realistic, f.ex. Zidane (ff9) has a Tail...

§ Final battle, I just love fighting those last battles especially when the intro is 100% thrilling

§ Original/Unique
