Genso Suikoden

Tis' been a while that  I wanted to make an topic about this series...Cuz, itīs the only series that, IMO, hits Final Fantasy head on, itīs just roxozors...

So, whoīs play'd it? What did you archive in it? What's your favourite character?

 Genso Suikoden = Sukoden II, right?

 I'm playing it for the.... 30 time now. I'm at Greenhill, pretending to be a student.......... again.

 People usually don't know, but its possible to bea Rowd (you know, you only battle with him one time, right after you go to Kyaro for the first time) Yup, its possible! It doesn't changes the story, though. All you have to do is: Get Mukumuku to enter in our party (Talk 3 times witht the three behing your house), then leave the town. Keep training until both the Hero (who I like to call 'Suiko', 'cause its easy to remember) and Mukumuku are in the level 16, its possible to beat Rowd in the 14, but if you don't want to use 15 Flaming Arrows.... Anyway, how to beat:
 Rowd can and will kill Nanami, so, tke of all the equipaments of the Hero, and put in her, it'll make she survive, try to buy all the Winged Boots (Rare finds, a lot of money) and equip in her. Mukumuku can't be equiped, but he will give Rowd 14 of damage each turn (if he doesn't misses) it may sound like its not too much, and hell, it ISN'T! 2 hours only in this battle... Anyway, have at least 5 flaming arrows (I had 16 =P), 1 Lightning-Something (can't remeber the name), and keep the Fire Wall that Rina had with her.
 Attention: The HERO must use the attack itens, such as Flaming Arrows, Nanami doesn't have level enough to give damage! Use her to Madicine your party.
 In the first turn, use the Flaming Arrow to kill all the Highland Soldiers,
 Now, Rowd can use up to 5 Water Drops, recovering 100 of life each time. When he do that, use another Flaming Arrows to take 97/more, keeping the battle balanced, when he attcks normaly, use the unite Family Attack, because it never misses, and Mukumuku shall attack normaly, because it can't be counter-attacked. After 5 Healing Drops, Rowd will run out of magics, now its time to full attack! Use all your Flaming Arrows, your Fire Wall (150/more damage), you Lightning thingie, and when you run out of itens, Use the Family Attack everytime its possible. Rowd has a lot of HP (900, I think), and beating him will take time, but if you do, Nanami will jump to Level 8, HERO will go to Level 18, as Mukumuku, and you'll find a lot of (and I mean a lot of) Money (Equip the *Technique* Rune in Hero's weapon, so he can double the money Rowd will give you) Also, you have chances of finding a Rune, that I can't remember what is it....

 If you don't wanna lose your time leveling up (maybe so you can do Clive's Sidequest), here's what happens if you beat Rowd:

 Rowd: *one step behind* You've been lucky until now, but you can't fight forever! *9 Highland soldier come, then the scene changes to the Kyaro Prison.... and the game doesn't changes anymore.*

 My favorite characters: (in order)
 1 - Zamza - Egocentrical, but strong!
 2 - Bob - Werevolves rules, plus he's cool.
 3 - Sid -  Sid, not Cid! For crying out loud.
 4 - Chaco - ...sometimes... he's not that cool.
 5 - ...the, uhm.... ninja... guy.... not the old one.... I aways forget his name.... - Well.... NINJA!
 6 - Anita - She's cool.
 7 - Freed Y and Yoshino - Only when togheter, I love the Unite Attack, its so nonsense.
 8 - Stallion - Running in circles is fun.
 9 - Hai Yo - Fighting with a fridge is fun.

 My favorite non-fighters character
 1 - Richmond
 2 - Shu
 3 - Hai Yo (Cooking contest)
 4 - Fitcher
 5 - Yam Ko (or something like that)

 ....I still don't understand what the Charism Rune does...

I wanted to play Genso Suikogaiden,  it's a series of games in volumes about Suikoden II that was released only in japan. If Suikoden was so famous, then they'd re-release these for us...


Grandy: is  Sasuke the ninja you're talking about?

my favorite characters, in no order, are:

Pesmerga, Zamza, Sasuke, Hero McDohl,Luc, Clive, Suikoden II Hero ( I  heard somewhere that his name was Riou), Viktor, Eilie, Alen & Grenseal...too many to list but it's damn near all of them.

Well, by Genso Suikoden I meant the whole series, so Suikoden I, II, III, IV!

Well, my favs are:

Tir McDohl - cool and strong
Viktor - The bear LOL...
FLik - Awesome too, even though heīs an ***hole in Suikoden 1
Pesmerga - HAVE YOU SEEN THIS BITCH?
Miklotov and Camus - Theyīre Unite and their unite with flik is so awesome...plus Camusīs got the Rage rune, that destroys...
Nash and Clive....cause theyīre the guys!
Geddoe: Awesome too!

I like Yuber too, and the whole misterious thing about his, plus Pesmerga chasing after him and stuff...

 I don't like IV. the sea travel makes it slow to me, maybe i need a progressive scan TV.  I can't find THREE anywhere!! well i could order it....

In Suikoden 2 I had my Suikoden 1 save, so IU could get McDohl...Dude, He rules so much, heīs so much cooler than Riou...

One thing I donīt get: Why the hell Jowy betrays us in S2? Itīs simply absurd, I hate him so much...

 Because "I was born in Highland, raised in Highland, its only natural that I want to protect it." Plus because he tried to kill Luca Blight in his own way, betraing him too. ....but after that the war continues, because he is afraid if he stops, the people of Highland won't like it. At least that what I understood.

Because "I was born in Highland, raised in Highland, its only natural that I want to protect it." Plus because he tried to kill Luca Blight in his own way, betraing him too. ....but after that the war continues, because he is afraid if he stops, the people of Highland won't like it. At least that what I understood.

Thatīs why I hate him! Thatīs a stupid reason! If he had killed Luca Blight and stopped the war that would be okay, but the d.u.m.b.a.s.s. continued it so heīs no better than Luca! Plus he took part in that mass killing with the beast rune in Muse...I hate him!

And in the end of the game.... we have the option to pretend it didn't happened! ARGH! What Konami was thinkiing!?

Yeah, with Kasumi and that other ninja guy I forgot the name...

In S1 I liked to use Kai bcause of his unite with the main character that took 300+ from ALL the foes...it was awesome!

I want to play S3 again, itīs been a while and itīs such a fine game...S4 kinda sucks, but you can use Ted (from S1) and Yuber...

Iīm looking foward to Rhapsodia too...

Actually there is four endings for suikoden 2

















1st is the regular ending

2nd-Go down to the first floor and see Flik and Viktor asking you where you're going and
after that talk to Viki and teleport to Kyaro village the head out of Kyaro and go to
Tenzan Pass and head to the place where you promise Jowy to return if you both are alive
and after arriving to that place you'll see him and fight him one on one duel if you
defeated him in the duel, he'll say to lend your right hand then he'll you the power of
the black sword rune and after that he'll die then the same ending you'll see the same
scenes in ending #1 and after that the end.














3rd-This ending is also like the Ending #2, go to Tenzan Pass and meet Jowy then agree not
to fight with him, still you'll have a one on one duel but don't ever attack him even
once and after two duels let be out of strength and dying from it then Leknaat appears
and heals Jowy and after that when you head down you'll see Shu and he'll explain about
what really happened with Nanami in the castle and after that head to Kyaro and go to
the house of Genkaku, their you'll see Nanami and then You, Nanami, and Jowy will visit
Jillia and Pilika and after that you'll head off and live peacefully with the three of you.







4thThis ending happens while your in Tinto city, when you escape from Tinto two of your
companions comes with you to help you out and after you arrive in Crom village the
village is attacked by zombies then you'll head to Tigermouth village but also this
village will be attacked by zombies, once you head out Hero will use all of his power
to kill the zombies in you're sight then he'll be weakened then Nanami carries him up
and until your trap and then Georg helps you and after that in Drakemouth village after
Nanami head out you'll see Flik, Apple and Shu he'll slap you in the face and then he'll
asks you to come back then keep refusing from his offer and then the two members will
join Shu then that the end of it.

Ah, itīs too hard to remember all my parties (?)...specially in S4 that I played too fast and didnīt care much about it...Letīs face it, it sucked.

 Nope. Kasumi & Mondo Unite (Ninja Attack) doesn't requires Sasuke... Well, I never tried both three togheter.
