DUnno why Charasī so overreacting about the FF guy...recently we had a crossdressing thread here and MANY members surprised me...This anti-final-fantasy-just-cuz-im-a-b-side-player is starting to irritate me already.

Anyway, Iīm getting PS3 if I have the money...I donīt like the other plataforms...

For me, that doesn't mean anything to me.  A system is nothing if you don't have the games to back it up.  I'm not saying the PS3 is going to suck, I'm just saying I'll prefer the Revolution.  It's a similar case of picking....Final Fantasy 10 over Chrono Trigger.  Final Fantasy 10 was WAAAAY more powerful, but Chrono Trigger was way sweeter.  That's how I feel the comparison between the Revolution and PS3 will be.
That's just me though, feel free to state your opnion.  Afterall, that IS what this thread is about no?

Oh hush now I'm-going-to-get-irritated-just-because-I-want-to-be-oppositional guy now, it ain't just that guy in FF12.

It ain't just that, overall the story and design looks just slapped together by an amateur, the character design overall is crap... and it has a flipping off soldier. XD

And as a bonus they rip off other games in their design... ugh! And they'll get away with it because their Squarenix -_-

So basically the FF series is going to pot, but people will still like it because it has FF on it. But the fact is, it's not Final Fantasy but rather some garbled insanity that has lost it's creative luster.

They should've ended with 8, that was their last good game.

Indeed, they've overkilled Final Fantasy. Jabbed the knife in the heart and TWISTED TWISTED TWISTED! It's the future of RPGs that really bugs me. What are we coming to? Plotless RPGs with character's who can't even hold a bow right?

It's official though, Final Fantasy as you once knew and loved it, is officially dead. I give you that warning.

As for the console. I'm going to wait and see here, see what comes out for those consoles until deciding to buy one, whats a console worth is most of it's games are duds?

I'd like to think of the FF game line like a tonberry.


Tonberry starts a way off, and slowly, as FF got games, it game closer. After FF7 was made, BLAU, Knife. From there on, FF started to decompose, so it went downhill. God, I hate FF8.

Aye, but they had to make X and VII all related...

I think Square relys soley on FF as its main series (suh) so therefore it must release a game for every system.
